I was hoping to wake early and get this posted, but alas, I am still not sleeping well thanks to this poison oak rash. Hopefully it will go away soon. We are sorting through kids toys and belongings, going through no longer used curriculum and getting rid of things no longer needed this week. Then I can figure out what’s left and how best to organize it. ๐
Outside my window it is overcast, but everything is freshly mowed, and it looks so peaceful. It’s warm, but not overly hot.
Right now I am helping the kids sort through their toys and belongings, getting rid of things, and finding a good way to store what’s left.
Pondering how much I can streamline so we don’t have things we don’t need or want cluttering up the place.
To read or not to read…to read of course! Currently working through MaryJane’s Ideabook, Cookbook, Lifebook: For the Farmgirl in All of Us, Restless in Carolina (Southern Discomfort #3) and Slug Tossing: And Other Adventures of a Reluctant Gardener.
Something fun to share: We have met with the first contractor for our new addition! Tomorrow we meet with the second. This means we are getting closer to work beginning.
To Do List for this week:
Pull together items for curriculum sale
Help streamline and organize kids toys
Mom’s get together
Field trip to wildlife refuge
Write letters
Start preparing June goodie box
Creative craftiness shall be or shall not be…I’m not sure I’ll have time to work on anything yet. I’ve got a lot of things to get done this week. We shall see.
Looking forward to mom’s get together tonight, the wildlife refuge field trip, and meeting the second contractor.
Looking around the house and still seeing a lot of things needing to go or find homes.
What I’m wearing today is a cute tee with arrows on it and jeans.
One of my simple pleasures reading. I love getting lost in a good book or learning about things I’m interested in.
On my prayer list is our poison oak rash. I’ve hardly slept in over a week and it is still driving me crazy.

Praying for speedy healing from the poison oak. June goodie box? What do you do with the goodie boxes? I enjoyed reading your post – have a great week!

Thanks! Once I heal, I’ve got to figure out how to stay out of it while working! I’m in a swap where my swap partner and I send one goodie box per season. I’m working on my summer box for her. ๐ Thanks so much for visiting. ๐
