I wanted to challenge myself to blog more, so the Ultimate Blog Challenge seemed like a good idea. And now it’s here. A post. Everyday.
Even if I only manage half of the challenge, I’ll be blogging more than normal. Seems like a win win to me.
You would think that would be plenty. But this morning, I came across another challenge. A challenge that would fit perfectly with this one. What challenge you ask? The 30 Day Video Challenge.
Yes, 30. Days. Of. Video. Now, this may not be a shareable video created every day, but I imagine it will be often enough. My goal is to learn a lot, and get more comfortable. Again, win win.
Today, I made a quick introduction video for the challenge. What I liked about this first video challenge, was how she said to let go of perfection. She even mentioned doing some of her videos in her pajamas.
So I ignored my “it’s 100+ degrees outside pulled into a pony tail after sleeping on wet hair” look, added a little eyeliner, and called it good enough. And you know what? The video is good enough.
Now if I was trying for a polished professional video, obviously it would not be filmed in my car on a whim. So let this encourage you to step out, and make a little video for your blog readers. It does not have to be amazing. It just has to be you.

Audra,
I applaud YOU! Your perspective toward your quest reminds me of what of my mentors, Mike Litman would often say: You don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going.
Here’s to you getting it going! Yaaay YOU:~)
