Lady Muse has decided to take over the giveaways. She doesn’t think I’m doing enough of them or doing it right or something. She’s a bit of a control freak like that. So who is this mysterious Lady Muse? She’s my kitty and the perfect blend of sweetness and er spice. Kinda like her owner. I’ll let her take it from here:
Lady Muse here, your new Giveaway Host for a dash of sassitude. First, I’d like to give a shout out to all my feline friends and their pets! For those humans who have yet to get a feline owner, what are you waiting for? We love our pets, but we don’t lavish our love on them lest they forget their place.
This week’s giveaway: For my first giveaway, I think we’ll let our pets get down and dirty. As in down in the dirt, planting some pretty flowers. The seeds in these two packets will attract hummingbirds and butterflies purrfect for chasing er I mean watching them with your pets.
I’ve also included some sassy green gloves to keep your pets hands clean. We wouldn’t want dirt mussing up our beautiful fur coats now would we? Well, when we dain to let them pet us anyway.
Here’s a picture of these fantabulous items:
Win it:
1. Leave a comment on this post telling me if you have a feline owner. Feel free to drop names and expound on how wonderful he or she is in your comment. If you’re comment doesn’t fit this criteria, you won’t be entered in the drawing.
Extra entries:
1. Subscribe to this blog and leave another comment telling me you subscribed for one extra entry. I’ll be hosting more giveaways, so this will let you know when I do.
2. Add my button to your sidebar or links page. If you have my old button, switch it out for this new one. It’s sassier and has the correct url on it. Leave another comment on this post telling me you did this and if I find it on there, you’ll get another entry.
3. Blog about this giveaway and use my button in the post for another chance to win. Leave a comment with the url directly to the post about my giveaway for another entry. I’d love help spreading the word.
You have up to four possible entries, but you have to leave a separate comment for each thing you do so you have the extra entries. I let the random generator pick a number and then I find that number in the comments.
You have until Friday, June 27th to enter. I’ll announce the winners on Saturday, June 28th.
If you haven’t claimed your prize within three days, I’ll have to choose another winner.

Miss Lily ( a rescue cat) and Beans (a foundling) totally rule my house! Beans prefers the strictly indoor life, but old Miss Lily prefers the back yard (and using the garden as a litter box!) Lady Muse is very lovely indeed!

Well, I would totally love to chase those butterflies and hummingbirds those seeds would attract… if only my pet would open the door wide enough for me to get OUT once in a while.
GRRROOWWLLL.
My name is Buckwheat, and I have 2 pets, George & Gina, who I have pretty well trained by now. They know I like my water changed EVERY day, pronto! and that I also canNOT abide a messy litter box, so that must be changed daily as well. They also know I need at least 30 minutes of warm lap time every day, preferably on the sofa while my pet, Gina, relaxes and watches T.V. The Biography channel is my favorite- I just love a good forensic mystery.
Since my pets have been pretty good- when they’re not, I give them a good bite to get them back in line- I would very much like to see my pet, Gina, win this prize since gardening is one of her favorite things to do, even though she does it without ME.

O’Neill the cat here…that’s with 2 L’s!!! I was named after Colonel Jack O’Neill from Stargate SG-1.
My owners are Jamie and Sarah and their five rambunctious children. I was rescued from a very overly-crowded animal shelter about six weeks ago and am LOVING my new home. I recently got in a fight with a racoon (read about it here: http://boyiloveolivegarden.blogspot.com/2008/06/revenge-on-raccoon.html ) but I am quickly healing from that. My owners take good care of me and love me even though I do really yucky things. The other day, my owner Sarah was digging in a local dirt pile to fill up a flower pot since she’d run out of potting soil. She filled up the pot and then used her trowel to break up some strange shaped dirt globs. She planted her flowers and set them out to be watered. Now that the first initial watering has dried and everything has settled, she realized that she’d actually filled up the pot from my potty spot. It’s very stinky…especially when she waters the pot again. But it’s making her geraniums grow nice.
Anyway, I’d really love to win this great gardening set…it might make a nice peace offering.
Have a nice day, Lady Muse, it’s so nice to meet you.
~O’Neill

Okay, there are several of us here fighting to see who wins the right to comment on this post. I’m Snowy and I’m currently the only one allowed inside except for when the little gal in the house brings in a tiny furball named Sunshine. The other furry ones living here right now are Wally, Blackie, Daffy, Patch, Wally 2.0 (yes the kids in this house are into computers!) and a neighbors cat that adopted us and moved in. There are also a few strays living here right now too since my owners are so nice about keeping plenty of food and water out back on the deck out of the rain for us and anyone else that happens along.

Ummm, we don’t have a cat. Don’t claw me! Our old feline died a few years back and my husband refuses to get another one. I am waiting for a certain young lady in our house to fix her big brown eyes on him and say “Pleeeease?!” I expect him to cave.

Hello, What a wonderful gift for my pet! She so loves to garden and dig in the dirt. She doesn’t enjoy getting dirt under her fingernails, either!
Flowers are her hobby and her pride and joy. My pet and her family call me
Nikky, but my actual name on my tag is Nicole. Please enter me pet in your contest drawing. She does well by me. Thanks, N.

No feline owners here, though we have a Canine one. Had a feline owner, Patches for many years, but alas she passed away a couple years ago. Considering how rough our kids are w/ the dog, we’ve chosen not to subject any more innocent animals to their roughness till they get abit older.

Well meow! Brujita, Shadow & Tippy here! We actually have four pets, Michele, Jose, Demetrio and Dejanera. We are bilingual felines as well, our pets speak two languages, Spanish and English, and in order to understand them, we have to know it too. Our pets can be pretty wonderful people, and we’re happy with the necessities of life: lots of food, clean water, an occasional treat and a clean litterbox. We don’t go out much, Shadow is disabled so he has to stay inside the house. Brujita has been venturing out occasionally to bask in the warm sun in the backyard. Tippy is the protector, constantly patrolling the yard and nearby areas for intruders, however he has been getting in too many fights lately. We’d really be grateful if chosen because then we’d have to ask our pets to plant those lovely flowers so we’d have something pretty to look at in the backyard other than their veggie garden, which is filled with stuff we do not eat. Nice meeting you, Lady Muse!
