I woke up at 3:30 am. And lay there desperately wanting more sleep. Insomnia. Again.
Maybe it was the amazing vacation we came home from the other day. Maybe the book I’m currently reading inspired me. Or maybe I simply reached enough. Enough weakness. Enough self sabotage.
This morning, I’ve decided it’s time. Time to LIVE. Time to get fit. Fit in mind, body, and spirit.
I crave strength of mind. A mind that is sharp and focused. Always learning, always seeking. A mind that motivates, sees possibilities, and goes for them. A mind that dreams, and partners with God to make those dreams reality. A mind that uses the gifts given to the fullest.
Goals: I will learn to play my guitar. I will get my book written. I will study photography. I will be creative. I will build a business.
I want strength of body. A body that can carry me through amazing experiences. A body not failing due to neglect. A body that can keep up with the physical demands of family, and living life to the fullest. A body to do what needs doing.
Goals: I will exercise. I will dance. I will find a sport(s) to be passionate about. I will play more. I will laugh often. Fully. I will eat well. I will drink enough. I will do what needs to be done to strengthen this body. To heal the damage done from careless behavior.
I need strength of spirit. Oh breath life into this spirit, Lord. I am so anemic in my faith. Let me see the glory all around, and give praise to the One who created it all. Let me go deeper into You. Let my spirit soar in your presence.
Goals: I will pursue You with passion. I will dive deep in Your word. I will listen to Your voice whispering in my heart. I will smell Your sweet fragrance. I will abandon self and give all to You. Authentic. Real. Vibrant. For You. Even when it hurts.
