Thank you Karen Blaha for the use of your photo.
Can you believe we are halfway through these mini-challenges! Today is mini-challenge #4 out of 8. These last days of summer are definitely flying by! If you need a reminder about the overall reading challenge, read The “Summer’s Flying By” Reading Challenge post.
Remember, the mini-challenges are not a requirement to be eligible for the prize. All you need is a kick-off post linked up before the linky closes and a wrap-up post linked up (linky not posted yet for these) at the end before the deadline for the drawing.
Now, on to Mini-Challenge #4:
Today’s mini-challenge is to read a book with the word Summer in it! You might have it on your shelf, in you Kindle library, mixed in with your kids’ books, or at the library. If you need some ideas for book titles, check out this list of books with the word summer in it from Goodreads. You can also look on Amazon. A quick search for summer under books pulled up a wide variety.
Again, this can be a book, eBook, children’s book (your kids would love that), fiction, non-fiction, or even a book you’ve read before. Remember, new mini-challenges come out each Friday. You might want to subscribe so you don’t miss any of the mini-challenges or the finale. The subscription box is over in the sidebar to the right at the top.
You can also blog along the way if you’d like, but please add a link to the comments, so we can come read about your progress and what books you’re reading. We can always use new book suggestions! If you blog about a specific mini-challenge, add a link to the comments for that mini-challenge’s post. For example, if you choose to blog about today’s challenge, come back and link in the comments on this here post. Clear as a book cover?
I have really enjoyed reading your progress updates about the different reading challenges! I’ll be getting mine up this weekend.

My daughter and I are putting our heads together to see which one of us can find a “summer” title book for this mini-challenge. Just posted our update too.
