I am hosting Susan May Warren today on her blog tour for Taming Rafe. Susan has become one of my favorite authors. Her novels range from historical to contemporary with settings in the US and Russia.
Taming Rafe is a contemporary romance with a twist of suspense and a dash of humor. Rafe Noble is a bull rider out of control and living on the edge until he comes face to face with the man he’s become. He’s spent his life trying to prove he’s good enough for the Noble name, and failed. Then Katherine shows up to get the money he cost her, and his help could cost his life.
Katherine Breckenridge has taken on her late mother’s charity foundation. If she could help just one person, her life might have purpose. But the foundation is on the verge of bankruptcy thanks to half a million dollars disappearing. Her grandfather is out to shut the foundation down, and she makes one last ditch effort to save it with the annual fund-raiser. Then Rafe comes crashing into her life and destroys everything.
These two characters both struggle with doing enough to make their lives meaningful. I love how Susan weaves their stories together with a sense of hope and healing. She makes you fall in love with the characters and the wide open spaces of Montana.
Taming Rafe is a real page turner. I hit a certain part of the story and I just couldn’t put it down until I reached the end at 2:00 AM. I haven’t done that in a while. I recommend this novel to anyone looking for a good book to curl up with while it’s still cold outside.
Did I tell you Rafe has his own blog? You can find all the stops on The Taming a Wild Heart blog tour, enter a contest, watch the book trailer, and read the prologue. You can also find a link to Susan May Warren’s website and read about her other books.
Ready to buy it? You can find it at Christianbook and Amazon.

What an interesting way to get people interested in reading! Book trailers are like movie trailers, but for books! You can find them all over the internet now, but here is a site that’s featuring them on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/booktrailers
