Welcome – a word that holds so much love and grace. It means that I don’t see what you’ve done, but rather, who you are. Here. Now. Welcome means to come and be. Share your heart, share you. It means to linger for a while.
Welcome is when homes are opened up, hearts are unbuttoned, and arms thrown wide.
Welcome is God’s love pouring out onto those around you. He welcomed the unloveable, the diseased, the needy. He welcomed us.
Help me to see what You see, hear what You hear, and feel what You feel – I want to welcome as You welcomed me.

Visiting from 5 Minute Friday…
I appreciated your definition of welcome, “a word that holds so much love and grace”. That’s absolutely it! Love and grace. You are accepted here. Thank you for sharing your thoughts today!
